Extensions / Generate from path / Interpolate not working on Linux: ImportError No module named numpy

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • make a square, make a circle, select both and Interpolate

What happened?

Error Message: Inkscape has received additional data from the script executed.  The script did not return an error, but this may indicate the results will not be as expected.

What should have happened?

... an amazing interpolation between a square and a circle

Inkscape Version and Operating System:

  • Inkscape Version: 1.1-dev (1:0.92.0+devel+202003111342+8523277)
  • Operating System: Linux Mint
  • Operating System version: 19.3 Tricia
