Reconsider blur scale
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- create a line or shape
- open Fill and Stroke dialog
- change blur with slider
What happened?
- on a thin object (e.g. a line), blur values greater than ~1% make it disappear
- on a solid object (e.g. a rect) values up to ~30% make sense, beyond that the shape basically disappears
What should have happened?
We should make the best use of all value between 0% and 100%
Proposal
Scaling linear to variance instead of standard deviation might make sense (in other words: use squared value). Needs investigation.
