Can No Longer Use Boolean Operations Directly with Text
Steps to reproduce:
- Draw a Rectangle
- Add text on top of rectangle
- Select both, Path > Difference
What happened?
- Dialog read "One of the objects is not a path, cannot perform the boolean operation"
- Text object was converted into a group of paths (one for each letter), as if I had used "Object to Path"
What should have happened?
- Text should have been implicitly converted into a single path and the subtraction should have been performed
Additional Comments:
- Similar results for all other boolean operation with text
