Docked dialog position not properly saved (only simply stacks remembered properly)

Not sure if this is feature request or bug report.

In Preferences > Interface > Windows

Saving Window Geometry (Size and Position) seems to save the size/position of "windows" meaning the main Inkscape window (or documents) and floating dialogs. If this is meant to preserve the position of docked dialogs, it doesn't. If it's meant to preserve the position of docked dialogs, this is a bug report.

Saving Dialog Status seems to save the open or closed status of dialogs (whether floating or docked). Not the position.

This sort of leaves docked dialog users out in the cold, as far as creating an unchangeable workspace for all files or documents. As far as I can tell, docked dialogs can be saved as open or closed, but their positions can't be saved.

So if this is not a bug report, it's a feature request, for an option to preserve docked dialog positions, from one file or document to the next, or the next opening of a particular document.
