Text alignment button for aligning left doesn't show up active anymore

Summary:

After changing a text's alignment from 'not left' to 'left', the button in the text tool controls bar doesn't update accordingly (it does at first, but then switches back to whatever has been used before).

I think this might have to do with inkscape!7243 (merged)

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • type a text
  • change the texts alignment from its original (likely left) value to center or right
  • check that the text behaves correctly
  • click on the left alignment button
  • check that the text behaves correctly

What happened?

The tool controls do not behave correctly. The 'left alignment' button is only active right after I clicked on it, but then changes to the previous alignment. The text itself keeps the correct alignment.

What should have happened?

The button should update and always show the alignment of the selected text.
