Color settings are uniform across all the tools
Summary:
The color settings (fill and stroke) are uniform across different tools, while the correct behaviour should be the settings for different tools to be preserved individually.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- select text tool. Open
Fill and Strokesetting withcontrl+shift+F - Select text tool and type something.
- Click cross in
stroke paintsetting and remove the border. - Use
draw bezier and straight linestool and draw a line. - You shouldn't see anything. so go to stroke paint setting and give it a color.
- Use
texttool and type something again in a new field.
What happened?
In the new text you've written, you'll see the border.
What should have happened?
Color settings for different tools should be preserved, and no border should be present.
