some extension dialogs (always) open full width (of the page)

Summary:

Some extension dialogs always open the full width of the page. Even if I correct the width the last time I use it, the next time I open it, it's full width again.

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• open Generate from Path > Pattern Along Path

What happened?

It opens with the dialog's normal height, but the full width of the page. Please see video.

What should have happened?

It should open either the same size every time. Or at least the last size it was used.

I wonder if this is related to the other bug report I just made: #12856

Because some of the same extension dialogs are involved in both problems.
