unable to manually edit number values in Fill and Stroke dialog

Summary:

It is no longer possible to manually change the number values in the Fill and Stroke dialog (H, S, L, A) via highlight then type.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open the version I have indicated below.
  • Draw something and give it this fill color #f4d7d5, or open the test document I attach below.
  • Open the Fill and Stroke dialog > Fill tab.
  • Try to change the value in the Hue field from 17 to 217 or 317.

What happened?

There is no way to highlight the number and type in a new value. Or place a cursor in the number and backspace then re-type.

Apparently the only way to change the number value is to scroll -- all the way from 17 to 317. Fun huh?

What should have happened?

Users should be able to type in the number values, as in ALL the previous Inkscape versions.

Thanks for listening.
