Missing character in exported PDF with font 'Noto Sans CJK SC'

Summary:

So far I've found the Han character will disappear in the exported PDF. Font: Noto Sans CJK SC.

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • Create a text box and write "如"
  • Set the text font to Noto Sans CJK SC
  • Export to pdf with all the default settings

What happened?

Open the PDF, and the character disappears.

What should have happened?

Not so.

Additional info

Do mutool extract on the exported PDF to extract its fonts. Open the font using FontForge, and you will see:

Like the character "如" is "broken". kinda Weird.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
