Feature request: Allow hiding handles with the key F while dragging

Summary:

pressing "f" only works in certain situations.

It does NOT work while

  1. …editing text
  2. …dragging objects or handles
  3. …panning the view
  4. …working outside the page

To me this makes this valuable feature useless, as hiding bounding-box and control elements is particularly useful WHILE interacting.

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • select an object
  • pres and hold to drag the viewport
  • press "f"

What happened?

  • noting happens

What should have happened?

  • bounding box selection should disappear while pressing "f"
