inkscape crashes when switching input language

Summary:

• inkscape crashes when switching input language via keyboard shortcut ALT+SHIFT or WINKEY+SPACEBAR
• i have italian as main language, english and japanese set up in my windows os system as language input methods

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape (in windows os with multiple languages installed)
• create new document
• select text tool
• click on canvas and type some text
• return to the selector tool
• click on canvas to deselect the text object
• click on text object to reselect it
• use ALT+SHIFT or WINKEY+SPACEBAR to switch language (windows os)
• crash occurs

What happened?

inkscape crashes and closes

What should have happened?

nothing, simply accept new language input method
