Export directory path grows longer with repeated object selection
Summary:
When preparing an object for export in Inkscape and using the Browse Export Directory button to select the export path, an issue occurs if I then select a different object and return to the original one. Each time I repeat this process, the export path becomes increasingly longer, with extra directory segments being appended to it.
For example, the intended path might be:
/home/vit/1/2/3/111.png
After switching objects a few times and reselecting the original one, the path becomes something like:
/home/vit/1/2/3/2/3/2/3/2/3/2/3/2/3/2/3/4/rect1.png
This seems to happen consistently and makes proper export difficult or impossible without manually correcting the path every time.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Inkscape
- Save the file in a folder
- Create an object to export as a PNG
- Set the export path for the object to some folder that is different than the save folder
- Create a duplicate of the object
- Alternately select the objects one by one. The path will start to change.
What happened?
Export path grows, adding the folders to the path with each selection
What should have happened?
The export path has to stay the same
