Arrow transforms as skewed/ deformed when resizing through handles

Report bug like a PRO !

Summary:

When you resize the line with arrow head, it gets skewed with the line. Is there any way to stop this happening? This is with version 1.4, and in version 1.2.2 it was fine. I tried with setting "optimized and preserved" etc in the transform menu (screen shot attached), but It didn't solve the issue. Further, I checked if I have group selected with any other objects, but no, I haven't. So, I believe this is an actual issue.

Not only arrow head, the line also gets skewed no matter you set 'optimized or preserved' in the settings.

Please find the attached screenshot images and the .svg file so you can see it in action.

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • Add a curved line with pen tool
  • Add an arrow head to it
  • Click on the object
  • Resize with resize handles
  • You'll see the arrow head get skewed/deformed

What happened?

When you resize the line with arrow head, it gets skewed with the line. Not only arrow head, the line also gets skewed.

What should have happened?

It should have preserved the arrow head shape and the line thickness intact.
