Inkscape refuses to resize window

Summary:

In Gnome 47.2, Inkscape 1.4 refuses to allow me to resize, maximize or even move the app window!

Maybe it's my 200% display scaling, I don't know (but I need that to see anything).

Steps to reproduce:

  • open Inkscape
  • try to resize or move it

What happened?

nothing!

What should have happened?

I should be allowed to resize or move the window!

(Similarly, I should be allowed to resize the columns down, but that's a separate issue.)
