filepath pasting in the file opening dialogue 1.4 Beta vs 1.3 on Windows

Opening of file-paths not possible:

Not sure if this is a temporary 1.4 Beta2 Windows build issue but I would like to report it. In 1.3 I can easily open directory or file paths since a standard Windows opening dialogue seems to be used. Examples: c:\Users\All Users\downloads\7E8D0721FC82A556
n:\Shared\Projects\GIS\maps\example.svg

This is my standard behavior in Win 10 to quickly access files on multiple drives and deep sub-directories using a custom file manager with path bookmarks. So I miss that rather strongly. Not sure if 1.4 Beta2 builds for Linux and Mac are different in this, but I sure wish the final 1.4 Version does again allow pasting of directory or file paths and is not limited to click trough the directory and drive list in the left pane. Thank you for the progress, I enjoy using 1.4 for the filter gallery etc.
