Undoing an attribute value in the attribute editor causes undoing of the last action that isn't the editing of the attribute value

  • open Inkscape
  • insert a <rect> in the root <svg>
  • move the <rect> with mouse dragging
  • edit the x attribute in the attribute editor but don't press enter
  • press Ctrl + Z (Undo)

What happened?

Undoing an attribute value in the attribute editor causes undoing of the last action that isn't the editing of the attribute value. The <rect> moves back when undo action is performed.

What should have happened?

The <rect> should've stayed in its place. The attribute that was being edited should have been undone (the text you typed).
