Jerky and slow moving around bitmap on MacOS Retina screen
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape on a Mac with Retina screen (I use a 4k external screen on a Macbook Pro 2016 with 32 GB of memory)
- Paste ten bitmaps (say a few MByte each) into your drawing.
- Move the bitmaps around, trying to adjust their position
What happened?
The movement is extremely jerky, to the degree that it is very hard to position the moving of a bitmap precisely.
There is a suboptimal work-around, though: Right-click "Show Info" on the Inkscape.app, and select "Open low resolution" fixes the problem in the sense that the jerkiness disappears. Of course, you loose the nice retina resolution and GUI items look fuzzy
What should have happened?
I expected as smooth movement as on Inkscape 0.92, and as in the low-resolution mode with the 1.0 beta.

- Inkscape Version: 1.0beta1 (32d4812, 2019-09-19)
- Operating System: MacOS Catalina
- Operating System version: 10.15!
