Content Scale lock works only in one direction
Summary:
When linking the scale of the viewbox to the scale of the content in the document, changes to the scale field affect the width/height fields of the viewbox section, and all objects and pages keep their size - it only changes 'the resolution' of the SVG without affecting how it looks.
When - in that state - then scrolling over the width / height field of the viewbox, this will still change the scale, BUT also the objects' sizes.
I had expected the link between both to be established in both directions, not only unidirectionally.
Steps to reproduce:
- open Inkscape
- draw a few objects of 100 x 100 mm, place them in page corners for ease of seeing the results
- open Edit > Document properties
- select to 'link the scale of the viewbox to the scale of the content'
- observe changes when changing viewbox and scale field contents
What happened?
- the lock keeps object sizes intact when scrolling over the scale field, but not when scrolling over the viewbox width / height fields.
What should have happened?
- not sure, but this seems strange to me. I'd have expected a link to go in both directions.
