zSort missing

Maybe it's no longer needed, but the old pathmodifier.zSort is missing without replacement.

Interpolate Attribute in A Group extension uses inkex.zsort instead, which doesn't exist (f1ff9721)

What is the suitable replacement for this function from Inkscape 0.92 extensions?
