very slow Formula (pdflatex)

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• goto Extensions -> Text -> Formula (pdflatex)
• Press Apply Button

What happened?

Inkscape is freezing, using a lot of memory and CPU load (showing in task manager) and after 20-30 Minutes, the formula is inserted and displayed in the Inkscape document.

What should have happened?

The Latex Formula should be inserted and displayed in the Inkscape document after a few seconds.

Inkscape Version and Operating System:

• Inkscape Version: 1.3.2
• Operating System: Windows
• Operating System version: Windows 10 LTSC 2019 (1809)

My investigation

• This problem occurs only on Windows 10 LTSC 2019 (1809), not on the newer Windows versions.
• The problem started with Inkscape 1.3.2, the older 1.3 was working fine
• The problem appears only when there is selected "System default" for the interface language in Inkscape Preferences. This configures the UI language of Inkscape to German which is the OS language of my test system. If I choose "German (de)" from the drop down list and restart Inkscape, then "Formula (pdflatex)" runs fast without a problem. I tried also Italian and French language and they also are running fine. There is only a problem when I choose "System Default" and this is the default setting after installation of Inkscape.
