Latex rendering bug in Inkscape 1.0 beta

Example: I render a latex formula for the first time in a session, e.g. x_1, which gives "x_1" and is two characters in plain text. From then on, the first two characters of any other formula that I render in the same session are "x_1". For example, if I render abcd I get "x_1cd".
