math functions not defined for function plotter extension (OS X Catalina)

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open Inkscape
  • Create a rectangle
  • Select the created rectangle
  • Launch the function plotter extension dialog: Extensions -> Render -> Function plotter: image
  • Apply the function plotter with the default values: image

What happened?

Returns the error message: NameError: name 'exp' is not defined

What should have happened?

  • The function should have been applied to the selected rectangle
