Ability to record and manage personal NAHs
Hi Matt. Just wanted to say the planning focus on this app is amazing. Your hard work is always appreciated by our family. I love planning, and my son and I have just stared RPing and so we are loving this app. What you have come up with to-date Matt is wonderful in itself, so I don’t want to take anything away from the amazing tool you’ve provided for us. Thank you.
In order to fully accomplish my ministry managing my personal NAHs has always been important to me. We currently do this using another app, however I wanted to log this idea with you as maybe in the future it could possibly become part of ServicePlanner. So here goes ....
Having my phone in hand and being able to record them easily and discretely with a click of a button helps. Firstly setting up map name, street details then only needing to record the house number as we go from house to house.
Also at the top of this “NAH page” being able to keep a “picture” of the DNC’s so I’m aware of them as I’m walking down the street.
Then when I return to do them a second time, being able to easily record a second or third visit, especially the date and time, so I can get an idea of different times to go.
Then if I meet them and they become a call I can turn them into one.
Also sometimes when I go to a group we may work together on my not at homes, so to be able to share them with those at the group perhaps through email or text message. Being able to sort them by area would be helpful here.
Sorting them by area would also help when I’m out doing return visits in a group, if we are near an area which I have existing NAH’S, I would be able to visit them while waiting on others doing calls or do them as a group after the return visit.
Being able to sort them by age (or amount of visits done already) so I know how urgent they are and then give those priority. Perhaps even tagging those that are urgent (or those I’ve visited twice already) with “write letter”, then once I’ve written the letter to tag with “deliver letter”.
Thanks for your time Matt, and this amazing App. Praise Jah.
