The language list has a nice search feature that helps a lot in finding another language faster, however it does take time when adding multiple publications if they are not in English. It would be nice to at least be able to select another default language. Maybe default to the last one used.
Even better would be something similar to the language list in JW Library, with the "Recommended" section on top which lists the languages that are actually in use. That way, the relevant language(s) would always be available quickly right at the top of the list, while still being able to select another language if needed.ServicePlanner 1.0.1https://gitlab.com/imatt/sp/public/-/issues/77Issue adding contacts in UK2019-04-20T22:52:50ZSamuel PetytIssue adding contacts in UKHello,

Thank you for creating this app,
However I am struggling to manually add contacts. I have read the help & support page on this, but I am struggling to do it.
When I type in a simple address such as 29 Wellington street, UK,
I am given some suggestions across different towns and locations - but these do not correspond with the correct address I need.
When I write a more specific address such as 29 Wellington, blyth, U.K., ne243be - and press the arrow button, the button just flashes red and nothing happens.
If I try to add the contact via the map, it finds the address if I type it in, but when I click the plus sign on the map, and click add contact, it doesn't populate the address form for me.
Could you please advise?

This issue is specific to the List View. Switching to Grid View allows you to select the publication.

I am personally not that keen on timers. They are a lot of work to integrate "properly" to allow for multiple start/stop sessions for the day. Otherwise maybe to keep it simple there is only one timer session per day, and it is up the user to "pause" the timer. The margin for error is high if the user is not constantly thinking in terms of starting/stopping/pausing their timer.
My experience with timers and timesheets in the workplace is that everybody does their very best to avoid them. If somebody wants to use ServicePlanner but loves timers, it is very easy to use an external dedicated timer app to drive this.
Anyway I will add it here to see what other users think.ServicePlanner 1.1.0https://gitlab.com/imatt/sp/public/-/issues/4Add "Custom" scheduling option for Next Call Date2019-04-20T22:44:02ZNikhil GeorgeAdd "Custom" scheduling option for Next Call DateWould be helpful to reschedule calls to a custom date when default options don't offer best retry date. I like to do this and on iPad the ares for the rv notes could be much bigger for this. It looks like there is plenty of space lost here and i have to scroll very much. Even when the keyboard is open there is some much more space that isnt used...
I know this comes from the layout of iPhone, but why not make the space as big as possible on iPad? Or to make it possible to show it bigger for a short time...?

In version 1.1 I added the ability to choose a Custom Date: https://gitlab.com/imatt/sp/public/issues/4
However this date picker was annoying to use as it required changing the Day and the Month, and sometimes the year. Also it did not show the day of the week (Mon, Tue etc) in the selector which slowed you down as you had to glance up to the title to confirm you had the right date.
I have improved this for v1.2.
It was like this:

Thus the way ServicePlanner works at the moment by creating a strong link between the Address and the LatLong co-ordinates is too limiting.
In such situations we just want to use the raw LatLong co-ordinates, independent of any address that Google may or may not have.
To support this I am thinking about:
* Allowing the Contact Marker to be moved (drag+drop) on the Map. This would retain any address that was typed into the Contact address field - it would simply update the latitude and longitude coordinates of that address based on the manual placement of the marker.
* Perhaps allowing the latitude and longitude to be manually managed on the Contact screen.
This will require a few changes to the UI and the current workflow.ServicePlanner 1.2.0Matt DelmarterMatt Delmarter
