Corrupted map ocean texture
Had this happen to me earlier today. No clue why - my guess is some issue with concurrent modification when drawing the map.
When explored, the generated terrain was fine, although nothing like the weird ocean map that was initially displayed.
It might make sense to isolate only the locateStructure()
call in the thread pool so that FilledMapItem.fillExplorationMap()
can run in the tick handler on the main thread.
