"retire"/"renew" old resources
Thanks for the recent changes!
I see that some of the old resources/broken links still appear in the "Python" page, and in particular the Hebrew version (which is probably older than the English one).
Listing stuff here, so we remember to fix in future changes.
- "old static site" (even older than the "פייתון" page) -> working, but only useful as historic reminders. Remove, or move to "historic/deprecated" section
- Old wiki site (hebrew page links there) -> The service is dead, but I have a backup, and can probably create a static archive (or a new instance) if people request that. Otherwise - remove the link.
- Python course: I think it is actually good, but maybe needs renewal/adaptation (e.g. Py3 -fication). Until that is done, maybe best to move it to "historic" as well...
- Do we have alternatives? Other free Hebrew courses?
- Hebrew page links to the old python-IL mailing list - remove (I think it is dead? I stopped moderating it ages ago at least)
- Calendar: Actually it is still alive, but do we need it? Is anyone still subscribed to it? (I still am, and I think we posted there an event for PyCon2023, but other than that I only see some personal meetings that Omri R posts there by mistake once in a while...)
