Community moderation - Phase 1
## Goals - Improve overall efficiency and scalability of our moderation tools with smarter queues - Build consensus based voting process with incentives for community participation in moderation - Align appeal and notification process with the Santa Clara Principles for better transparency and fair process There is interest in getting the current moderation functions working and enhanced to support an adequate feature set before we set it loose on our users. The initial goal is to improve the workflow of moderation sufficiently to allow us to set some content as safe on creation. Epic Improve current moderation Stage 1: - [ ] As an admin, I want to manage moderation from one easy place. https://gitlab.com/minds/engine/issues/88 Stories - As an admin, I want to be able to see different content types together. - As an admin, I want to filter and sort combined content. - As an admin, I want to be able to save and name a set of sort and filter options. - As an admin, I want to set a default filter to see every time I initially log into the system. Stage 2: - As an admin, I want to moderate as a member of a group of moderators. - As an admin, I should be able to access moderator functions, and to invite other moderators. - As moderators, we should be able to simultaneously manage the queue. - As administrators, we should be able to ask questions of users. - As administrators, we should be able to set the basic parameters for moderation. - As administrators, we should be able to set specific parameters for specific types of moderation (approve boost, ban user, adult content label) - As a moderation team, we should be able to vote on types of moderation, anonymously, and see the results. - As a moderation team, the initial approved moderation types should take effect in the system. Stage 3: Moving moderation to users. - As an admin, I should be able to select what types of users may be moderators. - As a user, I should be asked if I would like to participate in moderation. - As a moderator, I should have access to content to moderate. - As a moderator, I should receive a reward for my hard work.
