# Overview This epic is the container for the work related to the Retention team's investigation, documentation, resolving, and creating new experiences around .com subscription downgrades that occur when an account fails to renew or is manually canceled. We ultimately ended up downgrading the subscriptions that were consistent across the systems and had an end date prior to 2020-09-01. Work remains for the Fulfillment team to carry this forward and automate the continuous processing of downgrades.
