### 1. Simplify the buying process
The buying process at the moment feels very disjointed. We can introduce certain quick fixes to introduce significant improvements.
* Correctly link straight into the buying funnel
* Consolidate the CTAs in email and banner warnings (and make the content clearer)
* Preselect the group that is mentioned in the warning
* Add a CTA that takes users back to the Usage quotas page after a successful purchase so that they can be reassured.
* Fix the Customer portal layouts as according to gitlab-org/customers-gitlab-com#487

### 2. Move the buying process into the app
We want to start moving away from having such simple transactions being processed in a separate app (Customer portal). Let's move the whole buying process into the main GitLab app to avoid additional user authentication and to further simplify the process. Our goal is to maximise repeat purchases: *an existing customer should be able to buy additional CI minutes with only 4 clicks.*
Issue: gitlab-org/growth/product#1439
### 3. Experiment with bundle pricing and subscriptions or auto top-up
How can we simplify the way to getting addon CI minutes even further and possibly increase the value we get out of it? Let's experiment with subscription options where users pay a monthly fee for x add-on CI minutes per month.
Issue: gitlab-org/growth/product#1440

### Experiment with 1-click purchases
Experiment with presenting CI minutes in bundles (1,000, 3,000, 5,000 mins) and introducing the "Buy with a single click" button.
For this to work, we would have to automatically allocate the newly purchased minutes to the group for which the purchase was made and further simplify/shorten the buying process. We could present the buying options in an email or a banner warning.
