### Problem to solve Gitter is a great way to develop a community, and it should be easy to create a room that is integrated with a GitLab project. If I sign in to Gitter with a GitLab account or connect my Gitter account to GitLab, I should be able to create community for my GitLab projects and groups. ### Further details ### Proposal Support Gitter communities and rooms backed by GitLab groups and projects ### Future vision When creating a new project in GitLab, it should be possible to enable a Gitter room with a single click, automatically linking the two. The result should be a discoverable link from GitLab to Gitter so people can join the conversation, and integration of GitLab into Gitter so that links unfurl and short references to issues and merge requests work.
