The existing Product Analytics collector is using Jitsu and we have decided to instead replace it with Snowplow. This epic represents the work to do that conversion. ## Background Some research and discussion was originally done in [this epic](https://gitlab.com/groups/gitlab-org/-/epics/9346) about the collector component and requirements of it. Jitsu was decided not to be a good choice due to not having an active community, a small user base, and missing connectors for many types of data. Snowplow was [investigated](https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/388797) and selected as a better choice.
