FY23 Q3 Foundations OKR: Increase confidence in the direction of navigation and how to approach iterative delivery of the north star
# Background Our current focus is to create a compelling north star vision for an improved navigation experience. The north star will serve as a guidepost that helps align the team to a shared direction that addresses the top three themes identified from SUS verbatim, previous research, and our issue backlog. These three themes are: * Orienting users across the platform * Picking up where you left off * Minimizing feeling overwhelmed A navigation north star is a holistic exploration of how users might flow through common tasks. A navigation north star is not an evaluation of individual pieces of navigation to determine how to iterate on them separately. Because of this, we want to gain confidence during Q3 by validating our design proposals, narrowing down to a single direction, and then determining how to break the design down into iterative pieces that can be built over time. # Previous steps In Q2, product design worked on ideating on different north star concepts based on the themes identified above. Research, product design, and product worked together to create a research plan to test six north start concepts. This high level research validation will help us narrow down concepts in Q3 and further test to build confidence and refine our direction. # Key results
