### Purpose Over the last ~12 months, we've made a lot of improvements to the Package Registry UI. This work was encapsulated in the [Update the User Interface (UI) for the package registry to include additional metadata](https://gitlab.com/groups/gitlab-org/-/epics/2442) After implementing these changes in small MVC style iterations, we've found several smaller scale UI improvements that could be implemented to refine the experience. This epic is meant to contain all the individual issues to polishing the Package Registry UI. ### Resources The first round of audit was completed in the [Original UI Audit Document Figma](https://www.figma.com/file/aoZCfUtv08oeD3j3o0Ot9r/Package-Registry-Design-Audit?node-id=0%3A1) Conversation during the [Front End / Design Sync](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1O8QxKGa4db_hFhepP3N4nzTHvWvYS_jBMXDwt-8nT4c/edit?usp=sharing) came up with this overarching list of issues to create: - [x] 1&5) Sorting miss-alignment and wrong disable - [x] 2) add title to the package registry - [x] 3) Adjust breadcrumb - [x] 4) [Add count](https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/219490) - [x] 6) Copy change - [x] 7) Add fluid and fixed layout - [x] 10) Fix delete button margins - [x] 8) Ellipsis package full path - [x] 9) Open an issue to move 100% to gitlab-ui utility classes - [x] 11) remove extra line - [x] *) Open issue to unify shared component between registry and package - [x] 13/14/15/16) Open issue to convert table to issue and add titles and such - [x] 18) re-design package detail table (make a list/) - [x] 19) cli commands for installation and registry setup - [ ] 20) update skeleton loaders to reflect the list layout instead of the table layout. ##### Additional updates - Update the activity, instructions, and additional metadata comp - Possibly adding a graph to show package count by format - filter/sort from publish -> full expansion
