## Problem to Solve Today Secret Detection is part of SAST, buried within the SAST vendored template and vulnerabilities show up as SAST findings. Secret Detection should stand on its own and be moved to its own section of findings and vendor template. ## Value Proposition Detecting Secrets and the workflow for remediating Secrets is different than our other SAST scanners. Having it as a standalone scan type will allow us to diverge Secret Detection as we grow its maturity and focus on configurations that are unique to secret detection.
