Enable Resellers to access Customers Portal
# Strategic context This epic is part of a broader initiative to **expand Customers Portal access to more user cohorts**. This specific epic focuses solely on enabling access for resellers. # Problem Resellers cannot access the Customers Portal because they don't own subscriptions directly - they are Invoice Owners for subscriptions purchased through them by end customers. Currently, we only create a Customers portal account for the SoldTo contact. * **Payment processing requires manual intervention**: Resellers must call the AR team to provide credit card information for every invoice payment, creating operational burden and security concerns. * **No invoice management**: Resellers cannot view or download their invoices through the portal. * **Technical limitations**: The system fails when resellers have more than 200 invoices due to parameter limits. ## Business value * **Reduced AR Team burden**: Fewer manual payment processing requests to the Billing/AR team. * **Improved customer experience**: Self-service capabilities for resellers. ## Customer impact * \# of resellers: TBD * \# of invoices owned by resellers: TBD * \# of resellers paying with a credit card: TBD # Solution proposal Create Customers Portal accounts for resellers, automatically unlocking existing payment and invoice management capabilities.
