To help users from inadvertently leaking secrets, we will detect secrets and provide prompts to enable the user to create a secret in the GitLab Secrets Manager. Longer-term, we will ideally provide a similar capability for customers using a third party secrets management solution as well. High-level proposal: Phase 1: once a secret is detected, provide options/call-to-action for the user to place the detected secret into the secrets manager. Phase 2: automating the creation of the secret and autoreplacement in code.
