Ensure Gitlab.com and Self-managed customer have access to high quality usage data
Problem Statement
After receiving feedback from our Customer Success Managers, we identified a need for improved access to Service Ping data for enterprise self-managed customers. With version 16.9, self-managed customers can now access Service Ping data through REST API connections, facilitating integration with BI tools for enhanced reporting. Our next goal is to extend this data accessibility to our SAAS customers. Beyond providing access, maintaining data quality is crucial for customer trust. In FY25 Q1, our focus is not only on enabling access but also taking steps towards enhancing and maintaining the quality of data.
