## Problem to solve The GitLab Handbook is an essential tool for our company and an invaluable resource for internal and external users but there has been feedback that some of the content can get long, dense, and difficult to consume. ## Proposal We should take a fresh look at the user experience for the handbook and build features that aide in searching, navigating, and sharing content. ## Ideas * Persistent navigation tree/sidebar in addition to the table of contents * Display prominent page metadata on every page * Make it easier to share excerpts on social media * Improve searching and filtering on the page
