FY25 Engagement Survey Action Plan - CMSO
**Summary** GitLab closed its annual engagement survey on 2024-06-28. We saw a participation rate of 85%, with an accompanying engagement score of 76%. Our engagement score decreased -3 from the FY24 Engagement Survey, +5 compared to the New Tech benchmark, and -2 when compared to the company overall results. Our top 3 factors were Psychological Safety, Your Manager, and Values. Our bottom 3 factors are Company Confidence, Benefits & Compensation, and Action. Comments reveal that having insight into decisions that affect your work, growth and development for career opportunities, and showing action are areas of opportunity. In-person time at Summit impacted engagement positively and was appreciated. Our values, asynchronous/remote workplace, flexibility, and the people we have at GitLab remain hugely positive engagement factors. **Results** **Highlights** Three highest-rated questions: - I enjoy engaging with my peers at GitLab - It is easy to ask other members of your team for help - I am proud to work for GitLab **Opportunities** Three lowest-rated questions: - GitLab effectively directs resources (funding, people, and effort) towards company goals - I have confidence in the E-Group (C-Suite) at GitLab - As a team we consistently achieve what we set out to do **Proposed Action** To make the actions most meaningful to the organization, each CMSO leader will be sharing their team results. Once that is shared, they will work directly with their team on the action plan most impactful for that organization. If you are interested in participating in the action plan for your team, please reach out to your manager or CMSO leader.
