# Background This epic is a sub-epic of the [Maintainership Working Group Epic](https://gitlab.com/groups/gitlab-com/-/epics/1808). This is the sub epic related to the **Develop metrics to provide more transparency into the health of the Maintainership program** exit criteria. Completing this epic will close out the related exit criteria. **Exit Criteria DRI:** @mwoolf # Purpose The purpose of this Epic is to do the following: 1. Define which metrics should be captured 2. Using our current toolset (Sisense, GitLab etc.) build out the dashboards, etc that will be used to monitor the maintainership program 2. Add the appropriate data to the data store to support the defined metrics 3.
