I'm following up on our past conversations. NVE has upgraded to the new AWSOME refactored state (dev). I just merged all our chore/nve-upgrade branches into dev and deleted stale branches. These merges kept green pipelines, where green pipelines existed. For this task I touched:

• provider
• awsim
• griddechain
• snowpacktools
• qmah

From my personal and NVE side, there is only one crucial step in between a merge from dev --> main and a first AWSOME-wide version release:

• Fix mysterious pipeline breaks (profsnow, griddedchain, other toolchains?): avalanche-warning/snow-cover/profsnow#16 (closed)
• (optional) Fix qmah semantic inconsistency wrt datetags
• (optional) Update aggregating to newest state

Anything else that is broken and needs fixing?
