[Build/Install] Cannot build from source ("hg clone")
Ported Issue from Mantis Original ID: 2125 Reported By: kevin brintnall
SEVERITY: MINOR Submitted: 2011-08-05 17:50:41
OS: FREEBSD
OS BUILD: 8.1-RELEASE
PLATFORM: AMD64
DESCRIPTION
Cannot build from the HG source code. It looks like "autoreconf" doesn't generate all the pieces.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
% hg clean % hg status % hg id 59fdf4884188 tip
% ./autogen.sh autogen.sh: running: libtoolize --copy --force --ltdl libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR, `config'. ...

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
On my system:
% libtool --version libtool (GNU libtool) 2.4 % automake --version automake (GNU automake) 1.11.1 % autoconf --version autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.68
The following sequence enables the build to work properly:
libtoolize --force aclocal autoconf -I m4 autoheader automake --add-missing
Now, we can run "configure"
