[Dot] Allow setting minimal subgraph cluster distance
Ported Issue from Mantis Original ID: 1273 Reported By: Pander
SEVERITY: MINOR Submitted: 2008-03-06 12:03:52
OS: --
VERSION: 2.17 CVS
DESCRIPTION
Please allow setting minimal subgraph cluster distance.
When increasing mindist, nodesep and ranksep the clusters remain very close together. See example the horizontal distance between cluster with node l and cluster with node a.
clustersep could ba a variable to control the minimal distance between clusters which is not set to a static and not controllable by the user.
Fixing this bug will provide more layout control to the user.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
digraph "test" { node [width=1.5 height=1.5 ] rankdir=LR nodesep=.75 mindist=1 sep=0.1 ranksep=.5 subgraph cluster_abc { style="filled" a -> b -> c } subgraph cluster_def { style="filled" d -> e -> f } subgraph cluster_ghi { style="filled" g -> h -> i } subgraph cluster_jkl { style="filled" j -> k -> l } subgraph cluster_mno { style="filled" m -> n -> o } z -> a [lhead=cluster_abc ] z -> e [lhead=cluster_def ] z -> i [lhead=cluster_ghi ] k -> {g d } }
