[DOT] add "you are here" stderr messages to lib/dotgen/dotinit.c to help debugging / understanding
Steps to reproduce
dot -v (Verbose mode) provides on-going messages, but those messages do not easily relate to dot's four phases (see https://graphviz.org/pdf/dotguide.pdf, p.2).
The stderr output would contain more context by adding [if (Verbose)]
- "Starting phase 1 [dot_rank]" message before calling dot_rank
- "Starting phase 2 [dot_mincross]" message before calling dot_mincross
- "Starting phase 3 [dot_position]" message before calling dot_position
Expected Behaviour
more context to stderr (Verbose) output
Actual Behaviour
Show any unexpected output
