Change vertical line spacing in multi-line label

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask questions. I would like to be able to fine-tune the spacing between lines in a multi-line label. My label mixes font weights and as a result, is specified with HTML tags. Each new line is obtained using a <BR/> tag. However a single <BR/> produces a space that is too small for the font I'm using (Futura Std) resulting in a bit of overlap between lines. Two <BR/> tags produce too big a space between lines. I haven't been able to find anything in the documentation that explains how to control the line vertical spacing or line height.

Is it at all doable? If so, what would you recommend?
