use of uninitialized pointers in gvmap
While investigating some of the Coverity issues reported in #1464, I noticed cmd/gvmap/gvmap.c does some unwise looking pointer passing.
makeMap with uninitialized pointers
mapFromGraph then contains control flow that depends on whether these pointers are NULL. All of this logic looks non-deterministic. Command line flag
-O can make this more reliable, but by default it is not.
Interestingly (maybe?) this is not the issues that Coverity finds with this code.
