Run documentation workshops and activities in different schools and communities
This is already happening. The idea with that is to spread the concepts of documentation and OScH to a wider public, which is composed by people with different perspectives and with the potential of a big societal impact.
With EITCHA! we have been running cycles of workshops and collaborative activities in public schools in Brazil. We have reached around 200 hundred students during this year from at least 2 different schools. We have approached the concepts of free and open science hardware and documentation (we also presented GOSH and our values!) and also facilitated activities where the students could use, fabricate and mount OScH, and document the process by themselves.
I think we could all update on actions in that sense in our local context.
It would be interesting to gather information about who is running this kind of activity over here. Maybe I should start a forum thread about it.
