Using hotkey window from inside full-screen iterm causes iterm to hide itself.
The hotkey window is one of my favorite iterm features. Ctl+Opt+Cmd+Space => terminal! (yey!)
I use password-store for managing passwords and synchronizing between machines, so getting to a command line from my browser, quickly, is super-nice.
Unfortunately, getting to the hotkey window from iterm isn't so nice. Why would I want to do this? Well, suppose you're launching a cli program that asks for a password... Sure would be nice to hop to the hotkey window to get said password. Or maybe you're in an app and want to run some command real quick, but don't want a new tab. hotkey window!
But what happens when you go to use the hotkey window if you're already in a full-screen iterm session? Well, desktops switch to show you the hotkey window (yey), the hotkey window is shown (yey), and then the hotkey window immediately hides itself (boo) and you're left with Finder being the foreground app (double boo).
This doesn't happen if your original item session isn't full-screen, but I really prefer almost all of my apps to run full screen all the time.
