Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- run the attached applescriptpip_Upgrade.scpt
What happened:
i just upgraded to version 3.3, i think. after that, my seven or eight applescripts stopped working. it appears "write text" no longer works. yes, i realize that applescript support is in "maintenance mode," but its use is absolutely vital to me. it integrates with macos in a much deeper way than python does.
for the moment, i downgraded back to iterm 3.2.9. if applescript doesn't work anymore, then i am going back to the built-in mac terminal program.
What should have happened:
my applescripts should have continued to work, like they did in the previous iterm version.
