Inconsistent top margin in freshly cleared pane

- OS version: 10.14.5
- Attach ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist here (drag-drop from finder into this window)

- Are you reporting a performance issue, excessive CPU usage, or a hang? No

- Are you reporting excessive memory usage? No
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Open iTerm2, note the spacing between 'Last login' timestamp and the prompt
- Clear Terminal Window (Cmd+K)
What happened: Prompt touches the window border, until you enter another command (or hit Enter)
What should have happened: Prompt spacing from the window should be consistent. Right now it only differs on clear (from what I can tell)
